Flipgrid
Flipgrid is a free tool that I frequently use to give voice to all learners. Through this platform students can make short, content specific videos, to evidence their creativity and learning. With the sudden and unexpected changes in education and the urgent need to transform traditional classroom instruction to more of an emergency remote teaching format, Flipgrid is one-tool educators can use to engage learners and families digitally.
Flipgrid can be used for any audience; however, elementary educators largely use it. Likened to the increasingly popular TikTok that has taken the virtual world by storm amid the recent quarantine, through Flipgrid, though socially distanced…educators can maintain a sense of community among an invited group.
